Jose Antonio of Spain was surprised on Christmas day by his wife with this tree of his family lineage. The more unusual and dramatic shape of the branches is due to the fact that the trunk begins with the present and the branches work back into five family lines. While the border is decorative, rather than symbolic, the colors of the leaves are reminiscent of the flag of Spain. I thoroughly enjoyed writing in Spanish for this international effort!
